HYPOKALAEMIC POLYMYOPATHY IN BURMESE CATS

WE NEED A TEST TO DETERMINE CARRIER STATUS

If you are unfortunate enough to have experienced hypokalaemia in any of your cats, would you be prepared to allow the pedigree details to be used for research and to offer blood samples for the Feline Genome Project being undertaken by the Animal Health Trust with the support of the GCCF Cat Welfare Trust?

If so, please contact the Hon Secretary for a blood sample form to be completed by you and your veterinary surgeon and sent with the blood sample..

We would like to thank all those members who have already offered pedigree information and cats for sampling. Additional volunteers will help us to build an effective 'family tree' for the project.
